The Wall Street Code explored by Anthony Davian hedgieguy
It seems as though high frequency trading is nearly forgotten. There was much hate for this space when the economy was on shaky ground and people did not feel so wealthy. With the markets up considerable from the lows of 2008 - 2009 and the economy at full employment, everyone is content with the returns being made.

This vpro documentary I randomly found on Youtube. This covers high frequency trading, hedge funds, and much more. Really a worthwhile watch to see how Wall Street works so hard to scam everyone out of pennies on the dollar and fraud.
Most people do not realize that the exchanges like the CME and NYSE as we know them (downtown Chicago and NYC) are not where the trading really happens, states Anthony Davian (aka hedgieguy) a former hedge fund manager from Cleveland, Ohio. This video shows the microwave tower system that beams information from Aurora, IL (home to the CME data center) and New York. This is a lot of information hedge funds, HFT firms, exchanges, IBs, etc. do not want you to know about.
Anthony Davian (aka hedgieguy) of Cleveland, Ohio reposted the summary from vpro's Youtube channel for more clarity: A thriller about a genius algorithm builder who dared to stand up against Wall Street. Haim Bodek, aka The Algo Arms Dealer. After Quants: the Alchemists of Wall Street and Money & Speed: Inside the Black Box. This is the final episode of a trilogy in search of the winners and losers of the tech revolution on Wall Street. Trading on the financial market is not longer dominated by humans, but by super fast computers and algorithms owned by hedge funds. The result of this digital revolution on Wall Street is a complex and fragmented financial system that is hard to understand and overseen. A system that we are all connected to. The only people who understand the system a bit, are the people who built it and who are mainly employed by hedge funds. Haim Bodek started his own high frequency trading in 2007 and built a from his point of view perfect and fast algorithm. One day it just stopped working. Profits disappeared en he went looking for the cause. He decided to go public with his search to display the rotten system. Anthony Davian hedgieguy from Cleveland, Ohio a former hedge fund manager highly recommends this documentary to all people who feel that Wall Street is a fraud that works to make money by playing on unfairly.
